Accessing the Presstige Printing FTP site from a Mac

Please refer to the illustrations below each step if you have any trouble finding the items described.

Step 1. MacIntosh users need to have FTP client software in order to access our FTP. We recommend using Transmit. To download Transmit, click on, or direct your internet browser to the following address: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/internet_utilities/transmit.html If you already have Transmit, PLease skip to Step 3.

NOTE: Clicking on the link above will open a new window so that you can still read these directions while navigating the apple website in the second window

Step 3. After you have double-clicked the icon Transmit's connection window should open, with text fields for Server, User Name and Password. For the Server text field, type: ftp.presstigeprinting.com. For the User Name text field, type: presstigeprinting.com. And for the Password text field, type: presstige. After you have all three fields filled in, click the Connect button, DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING IN ANY OF THE OTHER TEXT FIELDS.

Step 4. After clicking the Connect button you should be logged into the Presstige Printing FTP site. You should see the directories of our FTP (cgi-bin, customerfiles, Deborra, etc.) displayed on the right side of Transmit's window. If you wish to upload your files to the FTP, please place any files you wish to upload to the FTP in a folder on your desktop. Then place that folder into the customerfiles directory. If you are downloading files, look for the directory that was indicated to you, and drag those files to your desktop. It is important to be specific when letting us know when you have uploaded files to our FTP. Please let us know which directories they are in (for example: customerfiles/MyFiles/FileA) and what the files names are.
